Lémancolia, Beauregard, and Pier

3 December 2019

Hi everybody!

The light is dimming and as our hearts warm at the fireside and smoking cups, here are some news of my musical adventures.

AZUR3000: Lémancolia

During a residency of the label Cheptel Records in La Becque on the shores of Lake Geneva, we recorded a long 30-minute song. We composed the music together with Perrine Berger. It became magic when the voices and texts of Régis and Leonard de Muralt, the musical saw of Julien Israélian and the bass of Léonard Persoz were added to the song.

Four filmmakers also showcased short excerpts of this Lémancolia.
You can listen to the song here and get a poster with the texts by writing me or seeing us in concert soon:

Your Fault: 1st album “Beauregard en Novembre”

Julie Hugo (ex-Solange La Frange) has just released the 1st album of her project Your Fault. I have the pleasure to accompany her live and to have played some guitars on this beautiful record, produced by Feldermelder.
The album is available on all digital platforms, and the vinyl can be ordered on bandcamp.

Residency in Cairo

I am lucky to be able to spend 1 month in Cairo this winter, thanks to Pro Helvetia!

I will record sounds and people, as well as work on new songs to – among other things – feed a new solo project…

P . I . E . R: Pier

Kassette goes silent for a while… In 2020 I’ll be launching a new solo project under the name Pier (pronounced “Pierre”). Something intimate for big hearts and small spaces. I am happy to present a first draft on January 17, on the occasion of the Art’s Birthday organised by RTS at the Théâtre de l’Oriental in Vevey.

This end of the year there will also be some other concerts, for example with the women’s choir, Eïla, led by Coco Den Blanken. All the dates are regularly updated on this website.

Looking forward to seeing you soon!
